Core Drilling
Core Drilling to remove a cylinder of material
Core Drill is a hollow and cylindrical drill used to make holes through a surface. The drill is made of metal and its tips are usually coated with either diamond or carbide. Core drilling can be helpful for preparing the concrete before the epoxy coating is applied to the surface.
Unlike other cement cutting tools, core drill is hollow which allows it to carve out material from the drilled surface. In the case of applying Epoxy Coatings, Core drill can be beneficial to remove any cemented material on the surface of the concrete.
